Quick Apply 8 hours ago Full Job Description As an accounting bookkeeper, you will be an essential part of the accounting team with this family-owned CPA firm.
We're looking for someone with approximately one to two years of accounting and/or bookkeeping experience who would like to learn and grow across all the administrative-accounting functions.
This is an ideal role for someone who has started or transitioned to a career in accounting and would like to grow and gain a wide variety of accounting experiences across multiple clients which will equip you with strong business knowledge, tax knowledge, reconciliation and research experience, and analytical skills.
This is a small team, so teamwork and helping one another will be necessary for your success.
The company is based in Avon, Indiana.
Hybrid work arrangements available Duties and responsibilities include:
Record entries, process transactions, review and enter payables and receivables Reconcile bank records, monthly credit card activity/deposit information Process customer and employee invoices Generate monthly departmental reports Required
Experience:
Adept with QuickBooks desktop or QuickBooks Online (QBO) 1-2 years of accounting and prior bookkeeping experience Strong attention to detail and accuracy with the ability to work quickly Excellent written and verbal communication skills The Interview process:
